Best Western Shelbyville Lodge

Needed a 1 night stop on our trip home and this hotel was so accommodating and helpful. Beautifully set up to, we were able to park right next to our room and unload quickly. The room was decent sized and roomy. The bed was soooo soft. Like sink in and deep sleep soft!! Bathroom was roomy. If we were staying more than one night, I guarantee this would have been good for us. The pool area was neat, it is outdoor but it was roomy and nice looking. Breakfast was hot and readily available.

I'm not sure why there are so many 1/5 Reviews but I found my stay very satisfactory. The room was very clean and nice. The lobby was more appealing than others that charge more. The morning came and breakfast was above average but the metal chairs were cold for the body. Worse part was I was not keen on their coffee machine. If you put your cup up there and leave your hand there and doesn't always shoot in the cup very directly and burned the top of my hand. I moved it as soon as it hit the back of my hand but it hurt like an SOB and no damage and I'm a big boy but they are going to have problems if they keep that and just need to go back to the good ol' thermos. The front desk was nice checking in as well as checking out. Not much to complain about. Mainly breakfast area which keeps it from a 5 Star.

Extremely clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast was hot and decent. It was easy to get to and from the highway and a gas station . Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing staff, comfortable bed, very clean and spacious. All around wonderful experience. The breakfast was nice for the family everyone found something they liked.

At first glance driving up I thought oh great this place is old, but to my surprise it is very clean and updated! Dog friendly room didn’t stink like other places we’ve stayed in with our two lap dogs who are totally house trained. The breakfast was very hot and the table and chairs are so cute! We will definitely stay here again!

Good for an affordable place to stay while travelling. We had a nice stay in this hotel. It was efficient with everything basic that you would need for a comfortable night or two. We needed lodging for our Bourbon trail experience in Shelbyville and Louisville. This hotel is conveniently located off of the highway with gas and fast food restaurants easily accessed. It is only a 30 minute drive to Louisville where hotels are more expensive. There are lots of dining choices within a couple of miles. The staff was very friendly. The hotel and rooms are clean. Breakfast offered a variety of hot and cold selections. We didn't swim but the pool looked clean. The outdoor patio was nice for hanging out with our travel mates. Our only issues were that there didn't seem to be an elevator in this two-story hotel - maybe there was one tucked away somewhere (?) but none convenient to our rooms, and there was some noise from delivery trucks in an adjoining parking lot. It's not the Ritz but it was all we needed for our trip.

Overall, a great experience!!! When we first arrived checking in was very smooth and the room was instantly ready!! The room was very clean and fit all of our needs. We stayed two nights and due to unexpected events had to leave. Leaving was super easy, and they gave us a refund on the two night we did not stay. The pool and breakfast was very good. Highly recommend staying here!!! Everyone was super friendly and understanding!!
